QS/1’s Images and Imprints service lets your pharmacy staff view drug images onscreen during prescription processing, providing a simple and accurate means of visually verifying medications.
Reduce the risk of prescription filling errors and assure accurate drug dispensing by referring to the images of more than 34,500 (NDC) medications.
To further ensure patient safety, this service allows the pharmacy to print drug characteristics, such as color and shape, and imprints, such as letters, numbers and symbols, on the prescription label. Characteristics and symbols that are stamped on the drug allow the patient to support verification at home and prevent a possible mix-up.
