Spartanburg, SC – July 29, 2011 – QS/1 is launching a helpful new feature to streamline pharmacy operations. Sidebar is being released with Service Pack 19.1.7 in QS/1’s Pharmacy Management System platforms.

Sidebar allows pharmacists to customize icons to access frequently used functions with one mouse click.

“Pharmacists may run the same report frequently,” said John Frady, QS/1 Market Analyst. “Sidebar allows them to click one icon to launch that report instead of clicking a few times through the system to navigate there.”

Sidebar is a customizable feature that lets each pharmacy staff member add and remove their own icons as they wish. If a staff member doesn’t use a function as often, they can remove that icon.

“Pharmacies are getting busier,” Frady adds. “Anything we can do to help them save time lets them focus on other projects and most importantly, their customers.”

The Sidebar feature can be found in QS/1’s NRx and PrimeCare GUI systems with Service Pack 19.1.7 installed.
