HME Database Services
HME Database Services offer the following:
- Medicare HCPCS Allowable Updates
- DMEMAC HCPCS Fee Schedules are updated automatically as changes are made available by CMS. SystemOne offers a report printing the HCPCS Codes/Items which changed, and the before and after changes.
- Diagnosis Code Updates
The change from ICD9 to ICD10 Code Sets in January 2013 is covered through these updates.
ABILITY
QS/1 entered a partnership with ABILITY, a Secure Exchange Site for sending and receiving CEDI Claim Files. This service is the ideal choice for businesses processing more than 100 DMEPOS Medicare Part B claims and eligibility checks per month. ABILITY services include:
- Real-time eligibility checking for Medicare Part B DMEPOS patients
- Same or similar equipment checking for Medicare Part B DMEPOS patients
- Electronic claims transmission in the 837 5010 Format
- Claims status inquiry for submitted claims
- Electronic EOB/ERA/ERN payment records with automatic electronic payment posting through the optional SystemOne Accounts Receivable module

Zirmed, one of the nation's largest clearing houses, offers the following electronic services for Medicare (for DMEPOS Medicare Part B and state level Medicare Part B), Medicaid and commercial insurance carriers:
- Patient eligibility checking for Medicare Part B DMEPOS, state Medicaid and most commercial insurance carriers

ECS Billing and Consulting
ECS specializes in consulting and billing for HME providers and pharmacies with HME departments. For ECS customers who are not large enough to have their own HME management system, ECS uses SystemOne for the billing service portion of their businesses. ECS services include:
- Consulting: An on-site evaluation of staff workflow, followed by written recommendations for improving the process. The recommendations include not only new policies and procedures, but how to integrate these policies and procedures into SystemOne
- Billing: ECS' billing staff connects directly to SystemOne, reviews information entered for accuracy and then bills the claims for your business.
