Spartanburg, SC – August 27, 2012 – QS/1 announces the release of its WebConnect™  iPad app.

The new WebConnect iPad application (app) allows the Long Term Care (LTC) facilities to use a secure wireless internet connection from the iPad to QS/1’s PrimeCare^® Pharmacy Management System.

“This new iPad app for QS/1 hosted users offers the same WebConnect functionality with a mobile, easy-to-use touch screen interface,” said Revonda Spratt, QS/1 Vice President of Operations. “LTC staff can carry this mobile device and work efficiently as they visit patients, rather than going back to a desktop computer.”

WebConnect allows a safe and secure connection between the pharmacy and LTC facility staff using security settings within the PrimeCare Pharmacy Management System. This iPad app gives staff access to patients’ medication information, improving patient safety.

WebConnect customers can download this free app from the Apple iTunes Store. Once downloaded and installed, LTC staff can setup using their PrimeCare password security.
