Virginia PMP - July Updates

Pursuant to new legislation effective July 1, 2018, the Virginia Department of Health Professions prescription monitoring program (VA PMP) will now monitor the prescribing and dispensing of Schedule V drugs and naloxone. The program covers the entire state and requires all dispensers to report, within 24 hours, all prescriptions dispensed in Schedules II - V, naloxone and drugs of concern - gabapentin.
