Insight - Fall 2020

Fall 2020 | 16 Kirsten Henry, Director of Branded Experiences Often, when you engage in an event like the iQ Virtual Series, you’re present at the end – when all the plans have come together. As a RedSail Technologies customer, you get emails about dates, agendas, classes, and programming. But let’s take a step back and start from the beginning. Why host events? Why go virtual? Why dedicate the effort, expense, and resources toward an education series? When COVID-19 hit, the RedSail team questioned what our customers needed. We knew you would have to find ways to navigate this unprecedented environment, but also stay up- to-date on industry trends, so you could remain competitive in your markets. We also recognized that you were dealing with your business and your family, but we didn’t want you to miss a beat on education and forward progress. The iQ Virtual Series became a focal point for our goal: to provide a way to deliver what you needed during a challenging time. From there, we conducted customer surveys and held brainstorming meetings with our internal teams. Before we got started, we wanted to know what was important to you. In order of priority, we found product training, industry education, company updates, and continuing education were hot topics. From there, we crafted Series 1, providing CE on our government’s response to COVID-19, customer panels on handling the pandemic, tracks for each pharmacy management system, and a look into digital marketing for any budget. In Series 2, we tackled ancillary products like Point- of-Sale and covered topics like clinical services, audits, and data protection. Series 3 included more product training, diving deeper into 340B, Health-Minder and Med Sync, plus Mevesi ® and DeliveryTrack ® . We brought you more industry information with recruiting and retaining staff during COVID-19, plus a deep dive into the RedSail Advantage program that detailed our partnership with OmniSYS. Throughout the event, we hosted Q&A panels with our leadership team to help you better understand the strategy and future direction of RedSail. Over 1,000 customers registered for the virtual series and 400- 600 people attended each Live! Wednesday. There is an appetite for education – even virtually. iQ Virtual: The Beginning and The Future We plan to implement your feedback from the past five months to shape a 2021 series that is even better aligned with your goals. Also, we are in the process of selecting a new virtual platform. Our number one criterion is that the platform uses a mainstream screenshare platform. We want to ensure you don’t experience the audio and visual issues some of you dealt with during this past series. Our team is determined to get this right for you. Hopefully, in late 2021, we can get back to some in-person training and networking. Everyone at RedSail is looking forward to that time, but for now, we still want to deliver on our promises to you. Next month, we will reach out via a survey to help us better understand what you’re looking for in 2021. Please keep an eye out and participate. Your feedback is needed and greatly appreciated.
