Spring 2020 | 12 Spring 2020 | 13 As we spring into 2020, we want to introduce our growing team of pharmacy industry experts. We know pharmacy knowledge is extremely important to the development and support of our pharmacy management systems. So, we continue to seek pharmacy school graduates with a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences to increase that knowledge. The individuals featured have a wide range of responsibilities within our organization to leverage their skillsets. We’re Here for You Evelyn Beach, R.Ph. | Customer Success Executive Evelyn joined Integra ® in 2012 and has 20-plus years’ experience as a pharmacist, operations manager, director of pharmacy, and consultant pharmacist. Her experience includes consulting in business processes and pharmacy workflow to increase efficiencies. She provides training for the pharmacy’s staff and provides educational seminars. As a previous alpha and beta tester for hardware and software solutions, Evelyn is proficient with integrating and using various technologies to their full capacity. Katherine Bryant, Pharm.D. | Assistant Product Manager Katherine is the newest pharmacist to join our team. She completed her B.S. degree in 2008 from Clemson University. She worked as a statistical and research analyst for the Institute of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina before pursuing her Pharm.D. at the South Carolina College of Pharmacy, MUSC Campus. After completion, Katherine attained additional training with a PGY- 1 community pharmacy residency at Medicine Mart Pharmacy of West Columbia. After residency, she worked as a staff pharmacist for Hawthorne Pharmacy. In 2015, Katherine worked as a floating pharmacist for Harris Teeter Pharmacy. In 2017, she started working as a staff pharmacist at New Hanover Regional Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy. In 2020, Katherine accepted her current position at QS/1. Ed Vess, R.Ph. | Director of Pharmacy Professional Affairs A member of the team since 2013, Ed serves as the director of pharmacy professional affairs where he works as a resource for pharmacy compliance and legal/regulatory interpretation and its impact on software and related services. With extensive experience in institutional and community pharmacy operations he provides a pharmacist’s view of software functionality from a business, clinical, and cost perspective. Ed maintains a professional relationship with legal and regulatory bodies, such as the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and Drug Enforcement Agency and is an active member of the American Pharmacists Association, the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), and the National Community Pharmacists Association. He is an active member and supporter of Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network as well as the Palmetto Pharmacists Network. A former president of the South Carolina Pharmacy Association, Ed is also locally involved with the SC Chapter of ASCP and serves on the Practice and Technology Committee of the SC Board of Pharmacy. Michael Dodd, Pharm.D., R.Ph., CPM | Associate Director of Clinical and Pharmacy Regulatory Affairs Michael joined QS/1 as a market analyst in 2017. In 2018, he was promoted to assistant product manager for NRx, RxCare Plus, and ShipRx ™ . In 2019, he transitioned into his current role as the associate director of clinical and pharmacy regulatory affairs where he provides guidance for pharmacy applications. He has a B.S. degree in financial management from Clemson University and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to joining QS/1, Michael was a pharmacist with K-Mart Pharmacy. Becky Lewis, R.Ph. | Field Operations Implementation Coordinator Becky joined Integra in February 2015. She has worked with various teams, including QA and Client Services. She translates customer needs and requests to teammembers who troubleshoot and provide support. Currently, she works with DocuTrack ® and Logix ® teams, helping coordinate implementations and customer training and handling account management duties. With pharmacy domain knowledge, she provides new employee orientation for those who have not worked in a pharmacy setting. Becky has a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree fromWashington State University. Zachary Princell, Pharm.D. | Assistant Product Manager Zach joined QS/1 as the assistant product manager for NRx in 2019. He has a B.S. degree in biology from Wofford College and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy. Prior to joining QS/1, Zach worked as the pharmacy clinical services manager at Medicine Mart Pharmacy in West Columbia, SC. With a strong background in clinical services, Zach understands the importance of providing pharmacies competitive technology solutions to advance the profession of pharmacy and deliver the highest quality patient care. Meet the Team Kirk Crabtree, Pharm.D. | Senior Product Analyst Kirk joined QS/1 in April 2019 as a senior product analyst for SharpRx. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Prior to joining QS/1, Kirk was a practicing pharmacist and pharmacy manager with 18 years of experience in community and institutional pharmacy settings. Tanya Williams, R.Ph. | Assistant Product Manager Tanya joined Integra in 2019 as the assistant product manager for PrimeCare. She received her B.S. in pharmacy from the University of South Carolina and brings a total of 34 years’ experience in hospital, institutional, and retail practices. Tanya’s goal is to use her knowledge to strengthen PrimeCare. She is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs.
