Fall 2020 | 33 New SCRIPT Standard To be compliant with the New SCRIPT v2017071 that allows for a patient sex of unknown: • On the Patient Record, added Undefined as an option for Sex. • For claims, if patient gender is set to Undefined, send 0 in field 305-C5 • If the gender on the Patient Record is blank, default to 1. Print Drug Materials Some states require pharmacies to give patients the ability to opt in or out of receiving printed drug materials. • Added Print Drug Materials option to the Patient Record. • Added Prt Drug Mat option as a Select, Sort, and Print Option to the Customer Demographics File in Custom Reports.
