Medication History by Surescripts®
Shares medication history information across providers during a patient’s office visit through electronic prescribing and electronic health record systems that are certified for Medication History services. The service accesses and aggregates patient medication history from community pharmacies and medication claim history from payers and pharmacy benefit managers.

ESI Rx History™
Helps pharmacies improve patient safety and prescription quality by managing the risk of adverse drug effects and enabling more informed treatment decisions across care providers. The ESI Rx History service provides patients’ prescription information through QS/1’s PowerLine™ claims switch. It stores patient medication information in a repository, and when patients are admitted to a hospital or long-term care facility, providers have instant access to their medication history.
